Nissan Heisman House Returns with New Recruits

Football season is officially here, which means it is time for Nissan to bring back its annual Heisman House ad campaign. This year, the fictional fraternity of former college football legends adds a couple of notable new recruits, including last year's Heisman winner Baker Mayfield and college football legend Bo Jackson.

Now in its 8th year, the Heisman House ad campaign runs comedic commercials featuring some of the most recognizable names in college football history. The first advertisement, "Calling All Heismans," already has been running during college football games broadcast on ESPN, but Nissan has gone a step further by developing a series of animated GIFs of each member of the Heisman House for fans to share on social media during games.

Nissan also will run its fan vote for the actual Heisman Trophy, awarded to college football's best player at the end of the season. Nissan fans have accurately predicted the real-life winner in 11 of the last 12 seasons.

"The Heisman House campaign has proven to be a tremendous opportunity for Nissan to creatively feature our robust vehicle lineup and innovative technology in front of the massive audience that is college football fans," said Jeremy Tucker, vice president, marketing communications and media, Nissan North America, Inc. "This year, with a strong ad focus on Nissan Intelligent Mobility and our Nissan TITAN pickup, we're taking the campaign to new heights with one of our most star-studded casts ever."

Of course, the point of all this is to show off all the great new Nissan vehicles that are either currently available here at Hall Nissan Chesapeake or will be on their way soon. In the meantime, enjoy another great round of Heisman House ads!
