2019 Nissan TITAN Debuts at Texas State Fair

Nissan officially debuted the updated 2019 Nissan TITAN and 2019 Nissan TITAN XD recently at the Texas State fair, seemingly the perfect place to show off the latest version of our rugged and utilitarian pickup offering.

While it is not a complete overhaul, there are a few updates that should interest Chesapeake Nissan customers, not the least of which is a new Fender premium audio system and standard seven-inch touchscreen, both of which make infotainment more enjoyable and easier to use. The touchscreen is now of a higher resolution and can hook up with Android Auto® or Apple CarPlay®. There also are more USB ports available throughout the interior—an essential upgrade in a world that includes an increasing number of portable smart devices that require constant charging.

Under the hood is a huge standard 5.6-liter V8 engine capable of producing as much as 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque. There is an even more powerful 5.0-liter Cummins diesel V8 that makes for as much as 555 lb-ft of torque and 310 horsepower, both of which are more than enough to handle even the toughest jobs a pickup could face.

The new Nissan TITAN also receives the lauded Rear Door Alert technology, which can detect when a person has forgotten something in the back seat. A few new exterior color options give customers more options for personalization, as well.

While the 2019 Nissan TITAN has not yet arrived at our facility here at Hall Nissan Chesapeake, we still have the current model available for test driving. If you are interested, call your friendly Nissan dealer and set up an appointment. Or, if you have any questions about this updated model, feel free to stop by and ask them any time!
