Updates Abound in New 2019 Nissan Altima

The Nissan Altima always has been one of the best-selling vehicles that we offer here at Hall Nissan Chesapeake, and the 2019 Nissan Altima obviously is the best and most technologically-advanced version of the vehicle yet. If you have been looking forward to the latest iteration of this well-respected vehicle, you can look forward to a few really exciting updates that will only improve the quality of your ownership experience.

One of the most notable changes for the 2019 model year is that the Nissan Altima will offer optional all-wheel drive for the first time in the model's history. There frankly are not many midsize sedans that offer AWD, even as an optional upgrade, but any version of this year's Nissan Altima that features the base 2.5-liter engine will have the ability to pair with the AWD drivetrain.

Another feature is the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo four-cylinder engine available in the range-topping Nissan Altima trim. It pushes out an impressive 248 horsepower and 280 lb-ft for torque for those that love the everyday convenience of the model but also want a little extra boost and driving muscle.

Finally, the ProPilot Assist, which includes advanced safety features like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assistance, will be a standard offering on SV trims and higher. These are the types of features that are designed to make it less likely that drivers will get in dangerous accidents, and even if they do, the impact will be lessened for everybody inside the vehicle.

While we don't have the 2019 Nissan Altima in stock just yet, it will be here soon, at which point you can try this new Nissan sedan for yourself to see just how well these updates can make your life easier as a Nissan owner!
