2019 Nissan Maxima to Debut in L.A.

When the weather starts to cool off and the holiday season approaches, that means fun and exciting things for people who follow the automotive world closely, because winter brings forth auto show season. Already here at Hall Nissan Chesapeake, we are receiving news about the latest and greatest new Nissan models to find their way to the 2019 auto show circuit, and it looks as though the 2019 Nissan Maxima will be one of the first to make an appearance.

More specifically, the 2019 Nissan Maxima will appear at the Los Angeles Auto Show, which gets underway at the Los Angeles Convention Center starting at the end of this month and into the second week of December. While we don’t yet know a whole lot about the expected updates, the automaker did release a single image of the new car along with its announcement of the forthcoming debut, but we know enough to see already that it will be on the receiving end of some notable upgrades.

First and foremost, the Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite of advanced safety features will be available on the 2019 Nissan Maxima, which includes a total of six safety and driver-assist systems that make it harder than ever to get into an automotive accident.

Furthermore, the image gives us a glimpse at some of the visual changes we can expect, including a redesigned front bumper with new fog lights and new headlight design that now will incorporate LEDs. The image doesn't show the rear of the vehicle, but we imagine the same will be true there.

As for the rest of the details, we just will have to wait until the end of the month to get a better sense of what is in store. Until then, we will keep Hampton, VA Nissan fans apprised of other new Nissan models set to hit the auto show circuit this winter!
