2019 Nissan Murano Debuts in L.A.

There was a lot to love at this month's Los Angeles Auto Show, including a handful of updated Nissan models that should have Hall Nissan Chesapeake customers incredibly excited about what is coming over the course of the next calendar year. In a previous post, we discussed the changes Nissan engineers have planned for the new Nissan Maxima. This time, we will take a closer look at the updated 2019 Nissan Murano, which also debuted in L.A.

The most notable changes to the 2019 Nissan Murano include a redesigned front grille, new LED headlights and taillights, new 18-inch and 20-inch alloy wheels, and a handful of new exterior paint colors, including Sunset Drift Chromaflair, Mocha Almond Pearl, and Deep Blue Pearl. It isn't a complete overhaul, obviously, but it is more than enough to generate a fair amount of excitement ahead of its imminent release.

"The first-generation Nissan Murano had a profound impact on the SUV market when it was introduced in 2003. As a pioneer of the CUV trend, it offered forward-looking design sensibility that combined an elegant style with premium features – without a luxury price tag," said Dan Mohnke, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing and Operations, Nissan Division U.S., Nissan North America, Inc.

Even if this vehicle had returned with almost no major changes, customers in and around Hampton, VA would have purchased it in droves, but these updates are exciting enough to keep it relevant in a segment that is increasingly competitive. Keep your eyes peeled for its arrival over the course of the next few months, and remember that if you would like to test drive one, all you have to do is call and set up an appointment!
